
EMC named official security information provider of WEG

EMC Corp., a developer of information infrastructure technology and solutions, will be the official security information provider of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. As a Games sponsor, EMC will provide the hardware, software, cameras and support services and staff to enhance security measures. Support services include camera design and placement, as well as a staffed temporary control center on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park, where the Games will be held Sept. 25-Oct. 10, 2010.
The Horse Park will have the option to buy the equipment after the Games are over. Overall security plans for the Games and Central Kentucky are being overseen by the Kentucky State Police.
