Dick Anderson offers nationally recognized expertise in creating and executing focused, strategic communications programs. His work has earned him listings in three Who’s Who categories as well as over 100 national awards including the Clio, the Emmy, the Addy, the Louie, the Broadcast Design Award, the New York Art Director’s Award, and the Sigma Delta Chi award for journalistic excellence. He has created, produced and marketed national campaigns for Coca-Cola, KFC, AT&T, Merrill-Lynch, 20th Century Fox, Turner Broadcasting, CNN, HBO, Showtime, AP, the Weather Channel, Milliken & Company, Tom’s Foods, Hillerich & Bradsby, Six Flags, and Walt Disney Entertainment as well as directing the largest Veterans Day Parade in the United States, and the off-Broadway hit musical Heart and Soul. His company, Trilogy Entertainment, was the largest producer of corporate meetings and events in the U. S. at one point.
Another son of Kentucky, Anderson studied political science/journalism at University of Kentucky and Intercultural Studies at Transylvania. He served as a reporter for the Courier-Journal, a writer/producer for Doe-Anderson Advertising, vice president of Sheehy-Dudgeon Advertising, and press secretary/public affairs director for the City of Louisville before heading for national success in New York City and Atlanta. A Vietnam combat veteran, Dick also recently survived esophageal cancer. A great sense of gratitude compels Anderson to use his gifts to contribute to the future of his beloved Kentucky.
